PERFORMANCE AT A GLANCE

Built for industrial scale, artisan precision.

Four numbers that define what this machine delivers on the factory floor — and why it replaces both manual labor and traditional heat-sealing lines.

— 01 · Throughput —
30+
Bags Per Minute

Continuous output rate. Matches the daily volume of a 10-person manual stitching team.

— 02 · Quality —
<0.1%
Defect Rate

Inline Vision QC inspects every bag and auto-rejects defective units before packing.

— 03 · Efficiency —
vs Manual Stitching

One machine replaces five trained craftsmen — at uniform quality, around the clock.

— 04 · Uptime —
24/7
Continuous Operation

Designed for non-stop fiber feed. No daily shutdowns, no cool-down between shifts.

ANATOMY OF THE LINE

Five modules, one precision line.

From raw fiber to stitched output — every module engineered for continuous, hands-free operation.

— 01 —

Dual Material Feed

Synchronized roll feeders deliver PLA mesh and cotton thread at matched speeds — no slack, no tension drift.

Zero downtime reloads
— 02 —

Precision Stitching Head

Our core proprietary module — cold mechanical interlock with cotton thread. No heat, no adhesives, no chemical migration.

Patented cold-stitch core
— 03 —

Tag Mounting Module

Inline kraft tag attachment — physically locked by the same cotton stitch. Custom die-cuts and soy-ink prints supported.

Any shape · Any brand
— 04 —

Tension Control System

Precision tension regulation across both material feeds keeps stitch length uniform — batch after batch, shift after shift.

Consistent stitch length
— 05 —

Auto Output Tray

Stitched bags exit through a guided tray, ready for packaging. Continuous flow, no manual collection between shifts.

Hands-free collection
ENGINEERING CHOICE

Engineered for purity, by design.

Most tea bag machines weld at 150°C. We chose cold mechanical stitching instead — for measurable reasons, not marketing ones.

— Heat-Seal Lines —

Ultrasonic Heat Weld

150°C+ at the seal head
SEM × 800 · PLA / 150°C +/-12um Roughness 50 μm
  • Material degrades under heat
  • Brittle, fractured seal edges
  • Heat-seal coatings required
  • Thermal cycling wears the head
— OriaTea Machine —

Cold Mechanical Stitch

Room-temperature interlock
SEM × 800 · COTTON / 23°C <2um Roughness 50 μm
  • Material molecularly intact
  • Flexible, uniform seal edges
  • No coatings, no adhesives
  • No thermal fatigue on the head
— 01 · Principle —

Mechanical, not thermal.

We replaced ultrasonic welding with precision mechanical stitching. By removing heat from the process, we preserve the molecular integrity of the PLA material at the seal point.

— 02 · Material Integrity —

Output stays as clean as input.

Because material is never melted, it never becomes brittle. Edges stay flexible. Independent research found heat-sealed bags shed 11.6 billion microplastic particles per bag in hot water — a problem our process never creates.

— 03 · Cleaner BOM —

One fewer thing to source.

Mechanical force provides all the structural strength needed. No heat-seal coatings, no adhesive films, no thermal-bonding layers in the bill of materials — simpler supply chain, lower operating cost per bag.

OPERATING ADVANTAGE

Lower wear. Faster swaps. Cleaner energy bill.

Heat-sealing lines pay a thermal tax — on parts, on changeover, on energy and compliance. Our cold-stitch approach pays none of them.

01 — Mechanical Lifespan —

No thermal cycling, no fatigue.

Heat-sealing heads expand and contract every cycle — that's metal fatigue, day after day. Our stitching head runs at room temperature. No warm-up stress, no cool-down brittleness, no scheduled head replacements baked into your maintenance calendar.

Built for the long run
02 — Changeover —

Swap formats without a cooldown.

Heat-sealing lines wait — for the seal head to cool, for new dies to warm. We don't. Mechanical tooling lets you change tag shapes and bag formats and resume production in minutes, not hours. SKU flexibility on the same line.

Quick format change
03 — Energy & Compliance —

No heating element. No food-contact coatings.

Without an ultrasonic horn or a 150°C seal head, the line draws meaningfully less power per shift. And because nothing on the bag is heat-sealed, there are no thermal-bond coatings to audit against EU 1935/2004 or FDA food-contact requirements.

Lower kWh · Cleaner audit
