These Terms of Service govern your use of oriatea.com and any business inquiries submitted through it. By using this website or contacting us, you agree to the terms below.
1. About OriaTea
OriaTea is a tea bag and tea bag machinery manufacturer based in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China. We have operated since 1995 and serve business customers (tea brands, distributors, contract manufacturers) worldwide. We do not sell to individual consumers.
2. Nature of this website
This website is an informational and inquiry portal. It is not an online store. Browsing the website does not create a contract between you and OriaTea. A binding agreement only exists once both parties sign a separate written contract for a specific order.
3. Inquiries and quotations
When you submit an inquiry through our contact form or by email, we will respond with information about our products, capabilities, and indicative pricing. Any quotation we issue is valid for the period stated on the quotation and is subject to confirmation in a formal contract.
4. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
Our standard MOQ is 10,000 units per SKU for tea bag production orders. Machinery orders are sold by unit. MOQ exceptions for special projects may be agreed in writing on a case-by-case basis.
5. Pricing and payment
Pricing varies by product specification, order volume, customization, and shipping destination. Payment terms are agreed in writing for each contract. We accept international wire transfer (T/T) as the standard payment method.
6. Delivery and shipping
Delivery terms (Incoterms 2020), lead times, and shipping arrangements are specified in each individual contract. Indicative lead times shared during the inquiry stage are estimates and are not binding until confirmed in the contract.
7. Product specifications and certifications
All products are manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001, FDA, EU Regulation 1935/2004, and OK Compost standards as applicable to the product type. Material certificates are provided on request as part of each shipment.
While we make every effort to maintain consistency, slight variations in tag color, stitch position, and bag dimensions within agreed tolerance ranges are inherent to the production process and are not considered defects.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, machine schematics, photographs, and descriptions — is the property of OriaTea or licensed to OriaTea. You may not copy, redistribute, or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
If you provide us with brand assets (logos, tag designs, packaging artwork) for a production order, you confirm that you have the right to use those assets and you grant OriaTea a limited license to reproduce them solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
9. Warranty and liability
Products sold are covered by the warranty terms specified in the relevant contract. Tea bag machinery sold by OriaTea is covered by a standard manufacturer warranty, the terms of which are provided with the machine documentation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OriaTea is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data) arising from the use of our products or this website. Total liability under any contract is limited to the value of the goods supplied under that contract.
10. Force majeure
Neither party will be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, port disruptions, or material shortages. Where such events occur, both parties will work in good faith to adjust delivery schedules.
11. Confidentiality
Information exchanged during inquiry and contracting (specifications, pricing, brand assets, business plans) is treated as confidential by both parties. Neither party may disclose the other’s confidential information to third parties without written consent, except as required by law.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and any contract entered into between you and OriaTea are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or a contract shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) for arbitration in accordance with its rules. The arbitration award shall be final and binding on both parties.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes affecting existing contracts will be communicated to affected parties directly.
